One of the companies we want to introduce to you is the Italian furniture manufacturer - Riva 1920. The company's history began in 1920 when Nino Mario Riva opened a small furniture workshop. Over the years, this Italian brand has established itself, and its fame comes from its unusual approach to raw material - the wood used to produce furniture looks raw, with natural knots and cracks. The beauty of the wood is also emphasized by the designs themselves. Riva 1920 has been collaborating with excellent designers and architects for years, including Claudio Bellini and designer Pininfarina. 

Claudio Bellini lives and works in Milan, but has designed for the largest European companies. For Riva, Bellini designed an extraordinary table - Venice. The form of the wood reflects the history of the wood used to make it. The legs of the table, which are also its most important ornament, are oak piles that for many years stood in the waters of the Venetian lagoon. The table designed by Bellini actually recreates this state - the piles still stand, but not in water, but in the holes of a steel, polished top. You can see yourself in it as in a sheet of water. This Italian furniture manufacturer, using discarded Venetian piles, not only creates unique furniture but also emphasizes the importance of recycling.

Claudio Bellini is one of many great designers with whom this well-known and respected Italian brand collaborates. Currently, the company boasts collaboration with over 100 designers who strive to give tangible "shape" to the wonderful material that is wood, which is the basic raw material from which these unique Italian furniture pieces are created.
