Opening of the Silesian Thing exhibition at Dobroteka

On September 29, an exhibition of post-competition works from "Silesian Thing" opened at Dobroteka. Mr. Krzysztof Dorda, Director of Cieszyn Castle, attended the opening.

"Silesian Thing" is the only regional design competition in Poland. Awards are granted in three categories: product, utility graphics (including visual communication and multimedia), and service. Over 360 companies and institutions have expressed interest in participating in previous editions, submitting nearly 490 projects, including furniture, lamps, clothing, medical and sports equipment, strollers, food, as well as heavy machinery, books, labels, packaging, websites, visual identities, and communication systems. Three years ago, companies, institutions, and designers implementing services joined them. Laureates and nominees for the exhibition are presented at a post-competition exhibition that travels throughout the country. Competition winners join the exclusive group of participants in the permanent exhibition "Design in Silesian style. Laureates of the Silesian Thing competition" at Cieszyn Castle.

The "Silesian Thing" post-competition exhibition can be viewed at Dobroteka until November 15.
