Dutch Design Week

DUTCH DESIGN WEEK
The week of October 22-30 in Eindhoven is a celebration of design, where fans of contemporary design curiosities flock to this small Dutch city – the birthplace of PHILIPS. Thanks to the support of the Opole Centre for Economic Development, a group of representatives from education, culture, design promotion platforms, and designers operating in the Opole region were also able to participate in this celebration. The substantive preparation was handled by the United by Design Association, and our guide was Ms. Kasia Zaręba, a graduate of the Design Academy in Eindhoven. We spent two days wandering through numerous exhibitions organized specifically for this event, averaging 10 kilometers on foot in the Strijp Area and Central Area. Strong themes of this year's presentations included socially engaged design and waste processing. We also visited presentations of start-ups located in numerous post-production halls in the city.
