Good Designer Week – project presentation

Wednesday also started very busily for some – from 6 AM, workshop participants were already preparing their projects for presentation.

At 2:00 PM, Dobroteka was visited by numerous guests for the finissage of the exhibition "Good Designer Week 2012". The finissage presented design concepts from last year's workshops, and their creators, who came especially for the occasion, were also present.

After the finissage, the presentation of this year's design concepts to a broad audience began. Following the workshop presentation, participants from current and last year's workshops, as well as invited guests, showcased their concepts at the open Designer's Forum. We encountered a very wide spectrum of design possibilities from young designers, ranging from practical utility solutions to very extravagant design experiments. This was all the more valuable as the audience also included students from secondary schools studying furniture carpentry.

In the evening, after a busy day, manufacturers and designers met for an informal barbecue and beer gathering. But, of course, the conversations revolved around design and production.
