Outdoor recreation

Sunny, warm days encourage spending time in the garden and on the terrace. It's high time to choose garden furniture. They must not only be attractive but also functional, comfortable, and resistant to rain and sunlight. Garden furniture should correspond with the style in which the house is decorated and harmonize with the garden. Different pieces will suit a modern house, for example, with a concrete facade, while others will work well in a garden adjacent to a Polish manor house.
Material without flaws?
Once we have determined the style in which we would like to purchase furniture for our garden, it's time to choose the material. Remember that although living room and garden furniture may look the same, they differ significantly in terms of the material used in their construction. Those intended for outdoors must be resistant to weather conditions. Wood, wicker, rattan, plastics, and metal are used for their production. The choice will not be easy. Each material has its advantages and disadvantages. However, furniture made of materials imitating weaves will be the least troublesome. Furniture offered by the Dedon brand is made of synthetic rattan. This material has all the advantages of natural raw materials, but is free from their disadvantages. It does not need to be impregnated and protected with paint like wood, it does not crack like plastic, and it does not rust. In winter, synthetic rattan furniture can be left outdoors. In spring, simply wash it with water and it will look like new.
Time to relax
In addition to the most typical garden furniture sets for feasting in nature, it is worth purchasing lounge furniture. Armchairs, deckchairs, comfortable chaises longues, or daybeds. With sufficient space, you can indulge in purchasing vast, convertible sofas with canopies, such as Orbit, or the suspended Nestret basket displayed in Dobroteka. If our terrace is not covered, we must think about sun protection. Umbrellas, canopies, and tents will shield us from sharp rays while eating, but will also make resting after sunbathing more pleasant.
Final touch
In the immediate vicinity of the lounge furniture, it is worth placing pots with seasonal flowers. Fragrant species, such as lavender, surfinias, or roses, will make relaxation more enjoyable. Another interesting solution would be openwork screens with prepared spaces for placing pots. In this case, we can also try introducing climbing plants. The screen will create a cozy nook, conducive to secluded relaxation. Attractive lighting will bring out the beauty of the garden in the evening. It is indispensable in creating atmosphere, which is why it should not be missing from our garden.
After the season
When choosing garden furniture, you should think about storing it during winter. Although synthetic rattan is resistant to weather conditions and can remain in the garden, a thorough cleaning of the furniture will then be required. It is therefore worth moving them indoors, even to an unheated room. If we have suitable space, we can set up garden equipment at home and use it just like other furniture. In the absence of sufficient space, it is worth considering folding models or those that allow stacking.
