NASA technology in your home?

We often do not realize that every day we can use inventions straight from the space flight program. One of them is GPS: invented by NASA, and today present in car navigation systems, and even smartphones. However, space technology can also be used in bed!

In the 1970s, NASA created Tempur material to protect astronauts from g-forces during space launches. For this purpose, it was necessary to distribute the mass evenly, without putting pressure on the body. Such features are also welcome during night rest. The first TEMPUR mattress was created in 1991, and today it is a brand known worldwide.

Pressure-relieving support allows our body to relax. This translates into better sleep quality, and thus better well-being after waking up. What's more, Tempur material reacts to temperature, becoming softer in warmer areas and remaining firmer in cooler ones. This allows for a perfect fit, regardless of height, weight, or body type.

To maintain the highest quality, TEMPUR products are manufactured in only three factories worldwide (two in the USA, one in Denmark). Today, these are not only mattresses and pillows, but also a range of accessories, such as pads and backrests, allowing you to enjoy the benefits of this unique material at work or while traveling.

TEMPUR products are constantly being improved. Not only by introducing innovative solutions, but also through novel design. This year's novelty is the refreshed look of the mattress collection, resulting from joint work with global design leaders IDEO.
