How to care for leather furniture?

Proper care of leather sofas, armchairs, or corner sofas can significantly extend the lifespan of these pieces of furniture, allowing them to remain a beautiful adornment in your living room, dining room, or bedroom.

By following a few simple tips, your leather furniture can serve you for many years. First and foremost, leather furniture should not be placed too close to heat sources, as this can lead to excessive drying of the leather. Leather furniture should also be protected from direct sunlight, and appropriate humidity levels should be maintained in the room where it is used. Leather sofas, armchairs, and corner sofas require the use of additional care, moisturizing, and preserving agents. They should be regularly dusted with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use cleaning agents such as dishwashing liquid or cleaning milk on leather furniture.

Every leather has a thin, invisible protective layer that can be easily damaged or discolored by using unauthorized products. Therefore, do not use sprays, creams, or chemical agents containing petroleum or alcohol.

For the care of leather furniture, we recommend using cleaning and maintenance products endorsed by the Kler company. The Kler brand ensures the highest quality of the recommended products. These preparations have been tested on leathers used by the Kler company.

The cleaning agent is an extremely gentle product that does not damage the transparent protective layer of the leather. Fresh stains should be removed immediately with a highly absorbent cloth or paper. Other dirt should be cleaned with the cleaning agent from seam to seam. To do this, apply the cleaning agent to a slightly damp sponge, squeeze it to create foam, and carefully wipe the leather in circular motions. However, do not rub too hard. Remove any residue with a soft brush or cloth. If necessary, repeat the cleaning. However, be careful not to oversaturate the leather. Allow the furniture to dry.

After cleaning and drying the furniture, a conditioning agent should be applied. Thanks to its comprehensive UV protection system, this agent properly protects the furniture leather from the effects of sunlight. Kler's conditioning agent protects the leather from drying out and increases its resistance to dirt. The conditioning agent should be applied in a thin layer with a cloth, spreading it evenly in circular motions. After application, allow it to dry, and then gently polish with a soft cloth. The best results are achieved after two applications of the conditioning agent. Regular use of the conditioning agent can extend the durability and strength of furniture leather up to three times.

The use of care products helps preserve color durability and extends the lifespan and brilliance of furniture.
