Invitation to the CEMENT exhibition vernissage
On December 12, 2025, at 12:12 PM, we will open an extraordinary exhibition by Katarzyna Adamek (Kata Adamek) – an artist who with remarkable sensitivity weaves history, memory, and matter into forms full of color, energy, and subtle meanings.
About the "Cement" exhibition
The exhibition presented at Dobroteka is a kind of memory map, the artist's return to her Opole homeland and to the places that built her identity. Katarzyna Adamek calls her works "reflections" – echoes of the past in the mirror of the present.
For years, her favorite medium has been wool, which she forms into circles, squares, planes, and spatial installations. The organic reliefs and sculptural forms seem to pulsate with energy – inviting viewers to pause, touch, and contemplate.
It was one of her works – "In XI (After peritonitis)" – that won this year's Dobroteka Award at the Spring Salon 2025 in Opole. We are all the more delighted to present her latest project to you.
