DTP 2017 Exhibition in Dobroteka

At Dobroteka, you can see the results of the collaboration between participants of the Dobry Tydzień Projektanta 2017 design workshops.

The workshops, which took place in the autumn of 2017, provided an opportunity for young designers to collaborate with furniture manufacturers. The result of these activities are furniture prototypes that have so far been presented at the Polish Embassy in Copenhagen and at Arena Design in Poznań.

The OP sofa is the result of the collaboration between designers Agnieszka Kowal and Wioletta Szymczyk and the Kler company. It was created on the basis of a frame with a sleeping function, which easily transforms the sofa into a comfortable bed. The sofa is upholstered in a natural-looking woven fabric. A color accent in the form of piping and lumbar pillows was made using a silky-smooth, textured, shiny fabric in a deep marine shade. The sofa is an excellent solution for small apartments where there is no space for a separate bedroom.

The team of designers Małgorzata Płoskońska and Dagmara Pająk collaborated with Meble Jonczyk. The result of this cooperation is the V Chest of Drawers - a furniture system consisting of two elements: a chest of drawers and a decorative lamp. The modules look great as a whole, but each of them can also function as an independent piece of furniture. A characteristic element of the furniture is a milled motif, referring to Zakopane patterns, appearing on the fronts and on the lampshade.

"Mentos" and "Precel" are seats, the result of workshop cooperation between designers Agnieszka Pluszczewicz and Paulina Sobczyk with Sit Sit. "Mentos" are two round, granulate-filled seats referring to the Scandinavian style thanks to their form, material and colors. The poufs can appear in two configurations, as a double seat or two single cushions. "Precel" is a proposal for a soft seat inspired by braided forms. It consists of one roll filled with silicone balls, shaped into a comfortable seat with a delicate backrest.

All furniture created during the Dobry Tydzień Projektanta 2017 workshops have a chance to be included in the collection of our furniture brand DO-M.
