Exhibition: "Apartment of the Future – a multimedia spatial arrangement"

On Saturday, March 21, the opening of the exhibition "Apartment of the Future - multimedia space arrangement" took place at the Apartment of the Future in Dobroteka.

Employees and students of the Institute of Art at the University of Opole, in cooperation with the Dobroteka team, for the first time in a commercial space, carried out a comprehensive multimedia arrangement of the space. The mapping, created by the project participants, for the first time was not just an artistic installation but also performed important informative and inspiring functions. With computer projections, the Apartment of the Future changes its appearance – it opens up a wider field of view, shows the arrangement possibilities of the room, and also virtually shows what the furniture built-in hides. Infographics virtually guide the viewer through the individual rooms of the Apartment of the Future, showing hidden possibilities and functions of the space. Meanwhile, multimedia bumpers metaphorically tell the story of the idea of a future home.

This is undoubtedly the first such complex and large-scale undertaking of multimedia arrangement of commercial space in Poland. We are convinced that in the near future, multimedia will play an important role in communication with the client and product presentation. Our example shows that experiments open up new areas of discussion about shaping the space around us.
