"Explosion of Ideas" Workshop

On September 18, we launched the "Explosion of Ideas" workshops, co-organized by Dobroteka and Explomet in cooperation with the Opole Centre for Economic Development.
The aim of the workshops is to acquire concepts for the use of explosively clad metals, manufactured by the Opole-based company Explomet, in industrial design. The explosive method of joining metals is unique, not only in Poland but also worldwide. Products created using this method are used in the petrochemical and food industries as technical containers. Explomet uses water to cut the required shapes, but a lot of waste material remains throughout the process. Among other things, during the workshops, we will consider how to use these materials. Explomet also intends to produce specialized material dedicated to the workshop developments, with a view to creating new utility products that use this technology. Other manufacturers of metal products, associated with the Metalchem group, will also participate in the workshops.
