Grand Opening of the Silesian Project June

On June 2nd, the Silesian Design June was officially opened in Dobroteka. The ceremony was attended by representatives of local authorities, educational institutions, participants of the Sculpture Open-Air Workshop, as well as representatives of organizers, media, and individual designers.
The plans for this year's promotion of good design in Silesia in June were met with great interest. A lecture by Professor Czesława Frejlich presented the attendees with interesting achievements in industrial design carried out over the last 13 years in Silesia. A surprise was the presentation of the figure
and design work of Ms. Concietta Lauriero, an Italian who has been cooperating with Kler for years. The planned lecture by Enrico Girotti had to be canceled due to objective reasons. ALF UNO declared compensation for the designers by inviting 3 selected participants of the "Vision of Rest" competition to directly visit Enrico Girotti and Enrico Cezana in their design studios in Italy. This could be a very interesting contact for young designers, which could develop into cooperation with Italian design offices in the future.
The new edition of the "Sweet photo with good design" competition was presented by the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture of the Silesian University of Technology – Dr. hab. Natalia Bąba – Ciosek. The exhibition of works by students of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław,
from two Furniture Design Studios, was opened with a glass of wine. A few words about the works were given by the Associate Dean of the Faculty of Interior Architecture – Dr. Mieczysław Piróg, Dr. Stanisław Figiel, and Ms. Magdalena Garncarz.
Participants of the meeting received promotional materials for Silesian Design June,
