Ladies and Gentlemen,
we are delighted and moved to invite you to the opening of the painting exhibition by Jan Cegiełka and Małgorzata Szymańska - Cegiełka titled "TETE - A - TETE".

Jan Cegiełka, a long-time employee of Kler and for 10 years also the Creative Director of Dobroteka, also left behind a body of painting work. We look forward to this sentimental journey, where, together with his wife Małgorzata Szymańska - Cegiełka, we will be able to admire their artistic achievements, and also remember our colleague, artist, and friend, Janek.

We cordially invite you to this unique meeting.

The opening will take place at the Artistic Exhibition Gallery in the Dobroteka interior gallery (Dobrodzień, ul. Oleska 35) on Friday, June 2, 2023, at 1:00 PM.

Biographical notes:

Jan Cegiełka (1953 – 2022)

Master of Arts, specialty Plastic Design, diploma in 1978 at PWSSP in Wrocław in the interior architecture studio of Prof. Władysław Wincze. 40 years of design practice, from 2000 for KLER S.A., from 2012 Creative Director of Dobroteka.

Organizer of 11 editions of the Piotr Kler Foundation competition for designers "Vision of Leisure", 7 editions of workshops for producers and designers "Good Designer Week", 5 editions of outdoor sculpture events "The Most Noble Form of Wood Processing", the "OOPAK" competition and workshops for packaging of Opole food products, and "Explosion of Ideas" for the development of production patterns from explosively clad materials. Initiator of "Silesian Design June", founder and long-time President of the United by Design Association.

  • 1968 – 1973 State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Łódź
