Roland Grabkowski – born December 31, 1985, in Wrocław. In 2014, he completed his master's degree in sculpture, which he pursued in the diploma studio led by Professor Janusz Kucharski. In 2012, he received the Minister of Culture and National Heritage Award for artistic achievements. He participated in artistic residencies: The Maple Terrace Residency, Brooklyn, New York, USA (2019), Chitrashaala, Rajasthan, India (2019), and Chitrashaala, Dharamshala, India (2024). In 2021, he obtained a PhD in Arts, in the discipline of Fine Arts and Conservation of Works of Art. Currently, he is an assistant professor in the First Sculpture Studio led by Dr. Grzegorz Niemyjski. He is the author of 8 solo exhibitions and over 30 group exhibitions in Poland and abroad. He lives and works in Wrocław.
