Dobroteka's Representative at the "Opole ETHNOdesign" Conference

On October 3, the County Cultural Center in Strzelce Opolskie hosted a conference concluding the "Opole ETHNOdesign" cooperation project, organized by the St. Anne's Land Association together with the Historical Brzeg Village Association.
The conference was attended by many distinguished guests from the fields of anthropology, ethnology, cultural studies, designers, and folk artists. Among the invited guests were employees of state institutions, politicians, and entrepreneurs, who were encouraged to promote Opole folk design and establish cooperation with designers and artists.

During the conference, an exhibition combining tradition with a design approach to the use of folk art was opened. Innovative projects, many interesting ideas for using folk art in modern design, and lively discussions related to encouraging young people to continue traditions are the result of the entire project.
The exhibition will be open until the end of October at the County Cultural Center in Strzelce Opolskie, and later at the Museum of Opole Silesia, Dobroteka, and Cieszyn Castle. We cordially invite you to visit two worlds: traditional roots and ETHNOdesign, connected by Opole folk patterns...
