Opening of the Tetmajer 83 gallery in Krakow

Otwarcie galerii Tetmajera 83 w Krakowie

We had the great honor and pleasure of attending the grand opening of a unique venue – the Tetmajera 83 Interior Art gallery in Krakow.

The gallery is located in the fashionable Bronowice district, at the intersection of Tetmajera and Pasternik streets. Włodzimierz Tetmajer, the street's namesake and a famous Polish painter and graphic artist, naturally becomes the patron of the establishment. This obliges a special focus on fostering cooperation with artists whose work is related to applied arts – furniture design. Tetmajera 83 gallery - a project by world-renowned architect Prof. Romuald Loegler - is an example of a contemporary architectural solution that actively responds to its local context.

This interior design house is a gallery showcasing selected brands in interior design. It features exhibitions by internationally renowned companies that are also a showcase of contemporary craftsmanship. The best design is combined here with high-quality workmanship, and traditional craftsmanship meets the latest technology. Here you will find complete interiors - living room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom, or even a terrace, as well as decorative accessories and fittings; nobly selected brands - KLER, Almi Decor, Halupczok, Rust, Ilumni, Schody Lempa, Stolarnie Galicyjskie, WMF, Doram Design, and Miloo Home. The carefully composed space and elegant display make it an ideal place for demanding clients - both those with clearly defined tastes and those seeking inspiration. The collections of furniture and interior furnishings offered by Tetmajera 83 show how closely intertwined, and with what good effect, craftsmanship, technology, and the design process interact.

Tetmajera 83 is a place combining commercial and educational functions. The art exhibitions organized here demonstrate a commitment to cooperation with universities educating designers. We will promote examples of good industrial design, with a particular focus on furniture design. The result of cooperation with the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow is presented in the form of a product and furniture exhibition. This is a continuation of the cooperation we carried out within the framework of custom product design. Three master's theses were created, in cooperation with Dobroteka in Dobrodzień. One of them is planned for implementation in the newly established furniture brand DO-M. The exhibition of functional sculptural forms presented here is the result of our outdoor workshops "The Noblest Form of Wood Processing," carried out in cooperation with sculptors. The works presented at the exhibition are unique and demonstrate great attention to artistic form.

The Tetmajera 83 Interior Art gallery also features a multifunctional multimedia space facilitating the work of architects and interior designers, which also serves to present the latest design and technological solutions. This place also provides space for relaxation. A patio awaits visitors - a space arranged for outdoor relaxation surrounded by the greenery of the Tenczyn Landscape Park.

Tetmajera 83 is a new spot on Krakow's interior design map, a place dedicated to design and decorative arts.
