Opolskie Eurolider
On Friday, September 28, a ceremonial Gala summarizing the implementation of the Regional Operational Programme for the Opolskie Voivodeship 2007-2013 and the Human Capital Operational Programme in the Opolskie Voivodeship took place at the Opole Philharmonic.
The Gala was organized by the Marshal’s Office of the Opolskie Voivodeship. Among others, the Minister of Regional Development, Elżbieta Bieńkowska, who granted honorary patronage to the event, participated in the Gala.
The Minister also took part in a discussion panel, to which, apart from the conference host Marshal Józef Sebesta, MEP Jan Olbrycht, Robert Gwiazdowski, president of the Adam Smith Centre, and Karol Cebula, entrepreneur and president of the "Development and Economy" Association, were invited. The invited guests shared their opinions on ways to finance a special demographic zone in the Opole Voivodeship, preparations for the next European budget, and meeting the development challenges awaiting the Opole Voivodeship. The discussion was moderated by Mr. Jacek Żakowski.
During the Gala, Alicja Węgorzewska performed, and two competitions for beneficiaries were resolved: "Opole Euro" and "Capital in Opole."
Dobroteka, as part of the "Opole Euro – III edition" competition, was awarded the title "Opole Euro Leader." The award on behalf of Dobroteka was received by President Rafał Desczyk.
