OOPAK competition results during the 4th Food Industry Congress

On November 4, during the 4th Food Industry Congress, the OOPAK competition for the best packaging of an Opole food product was settled.
The winner of the competition was Marta Wichary - a student of the UO Institute of Art, who designed and prepared a model of packaging for Cote d'Or Belgian chocolates, produced in Skarbimierz by Mondelez Intern.
Additionally, in this competition co-organized by the Opole Centre for Economic Development, Chespa company and Dobroteka, distinctions were awarded to:
- Marek Powiecka, a graduate of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, who prepared a stand for baby food products for Nutricia,
- Paweł Harań from the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences for beer packaging for Browar Namysłów,
- Marta Wichary for Cadbury pralines packaging for Mondelez International,
- Rafał Kwiecień for ice cream packaging for Nestle.
In total, 16 projects were submitted to the OOPAK competition, which was addressed to students and graduates of art universities. The task of 8 selected participants was to propose packaging for products indicated by the food industry companies involved in the competition – Mondelez International, Nutricia, Browar Namysłów, Nestle. In October, a week-long workshop took place at Dobroteka, attended by 8 selected participants of the competition. During the workshops, packaging models were created at Chespa company.
In addition, all participants who reached the second stage have the opportunity to undertake a six-month internship at Chespa company.
