REFLECTIONS exhibition opening
On September 1st, the opening of the REFLECTIONS exhibition took place at Dobroteka.

Mirrors that reflect our dreams, desires, and emotions. Such mirrors can be found at the extraordinary REFLECTIONS exhibition, where the magic of art meets master craftsmanship.
This unique event presents mirrors from the original collections of P55 MIRRORS, created by the duo Beata Ludwin and Łukasz Wołek, whose work is like poetry in the world of craftsmanship and design. The exhibition transports us to a world of mirrors, where each has its own story to tell.
The ROCK collection, awarded in the MUST HAVE 2023 poll, is a true work of art. The mirrors in this collection resemble precious stones that hide secrets and stories within them. The COLOR collection is full of energetic colors that bring life to any room. These mirrors remind us that the world is full of colors just waiting for our attention. These are mirrors that liven up space and bring joy into it.
But that's not the end of the surprises! The REFLECTIONS exhibition gives us the opportunity to see the SQUIGGLE mirror, which was honored in the GOOD DESIGN 2023 competition. This time it is presented in a new BLUE version, which gives it even more expression. These mirrors show us that art knows no bounds, that it can be as dynamic and changing as life itself.
P55 MIRRORS is a mirror workshop run by two extraordinary artists - Beata Ludwin and Łukasz Wołek. Their work is not just craftsmanship; it's a combination of art and passion. They studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, each in their own field - Beata in art conservation, and Łukasz in Professor Maciej Szańkowski's sculpture studio. Their collaborative work is the sum of diverse experiences in visual arts, and the mirrors they create are the fruit of their creativity and love for art.
P55 MIRRORS are crafted by hand, using traditional gilding techniques such as silvering and gilding glass with gold leaf. This process requires precision and patience, but the result of this effort is absolutely stunning. Each mirror is unique, each has its own soul, which it imparts to us every time we look into it.
Interpretations of ancient decorative techniques allow for the creation of mirrors that combine tradition with modernity. This fusion of past and present gives us unique mirrors that become a reflection of our desires and emotions.
