Małgorzata Szymańska-Cegiełka at Dobroteka

Małgorzata Szymańska-Cegiełka at Dobroteka
Exhibition from October 3rd at the Art Exhibition Gallery
Dobroteka is pleased to invite you to another extraordinary artistic event. From October 3, 2025, you can admire the works of Małgorzata Szymańska-Cegiełka in our Art Exhibition Gallery – an artist of exceptional sensitivity, whose work balances between painting and fiber art.
The artist – a master of watercolor and silk
Małgorzata Szymańska-Cegiełka is a Master of Fine Arts, a graduate of the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Wrocław, where she studied at the Faculty of Interior Architecture and Industrial Design. She received her diploma in 1981 in the studios of Prof. Władysław Wincze and Prof. Józef Hałas.
Her artistic achievements include experiences gained abroad – including a scholarship in Italy, where she perfected her painting and design skills, and a stay in the United States, where she created illustrations for Grażyna Sygitowicz's book "Confessions."
Today, the artist focuses on silk painting, watercolors, pastels, and unique textiles. Her works are held in private collections in Poland and around the world – including in France, Germany, Austria, the USA, and Greece.
Szymańska-Cegiełka is not only a creator but also an educator and cultural animator. Since 1995, she has organized international interdisciplinary plein-air workshops in Warta and co-creates events in partner cities in Germany. Her activities have been repeatedly awarded – she received, among others, the Sieradz Voivode's Award for artistic achievements, the medal and title "Wartczanin of the Year", as well as distinctions for her pedagogical and creative work with youth.
Exhibition at Dobroteka
The Art Exhibition Gallery at Dobroteka presents a variety of the artist's works – from subtle, light-filled watercolors to silk banners and screens that captivate with color, form, and symbolism. It is art full of emotion, interplay of light and color, where every detail matters.
The exhibition is not only an opportunity to encounter high-quality art but also a chance to enter the artist's world – sensitive, reflective, full of subtlety and creative courage.
Exhibition opening – October 3rd, 12:00 PM
The official opening of the exhibition took place on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 12:00 PM in the Art Exhibition Gallery at Dobroteka.
It was a unique opportunity to meet the artist, hear her stories about her work, and immerse oneself in the world of paintings, fabrics, and silk forms.
