Małgorzata Szymańska-Cegiełka at Dobroteka

Małgorzata Szymańska-Cegiełka at Dobroteka
Dobroteka is delighted to invite you to another extraordinary art event. From October 3, 2025, our Art Exhibition Gallery will feature the works of Małgorzata Szymańska-Cegiełka – an artist of exceptional sensitivity, whose creativity balances between painting and fiber art.
The Artist – Master of Watercolor and Silk
Małgorzata Szymańska-Cegiełka holds a Master of Fine Arts degree, having graduated from the State College of Fine Arts in Wrocław, where she studied at the Faculty of Interior Design and Industrial Design. She received her diploma in 1981 from the studios of Prof. Władysław Wincze and Prof. Józef Hałas.
Her artistic achievements include experiences gained abroad – including a scholarship in Italy, where she honed her painting and design skills, and a stay in the United States, where she created illustrations for Grażyna Sygitowicz's book "Zwierzenia" (Confessions).
Today, the artist focuses on painting on silk, watercolor, pastels, and unique textiles. Her works are found in private collections in Poland and around the world – including France, Germany, Austria, the USA, and Greece.
Szymańska-Cegiełka is not only a creator but also an educator and cultural animator. Since 1995, she has organized international interdisciplinary plein-air events in Warta and co-creates events in partner cities in Germany. Her work has been repeatedly recognized – she received, among others, the Sieradz Voivode Award for artistic achievements, the "Wartczanin Roku" (Person of the Year in Warta) medal and title, as well as distinctions for her pedagogical and creative work with young people.
Exhibition at Dobroteka
The Dobroteka Art Exhibition Gallery will present a variety of the artist's works – from subtle, light watercolors, to silk banners and screens, which delight with their color, form, and symbolism. It is art full of emotion, interplay of light and color, where every detail matters.
The exhibition is not only an opportunity to encounter high-caliber art but also a chance to enter the artist's world – sensitive, reflective, full of subtlety and creative courage.
Opening – October 3, 12:00 PM
The official opening of the exhibition will take place on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 12:00 PM in the Dobroteka Art Exhibition Gallery.
This is a unique opportunity to meet the artist, hear her stories about her work, and immerse oneself in the world of paintings, textiles, and silk forms.
✨ We cordially invite you to Dobroteka – a place where art and design meet in harmony.
