"Holiday Vision 10" Competition
The Piotr Kler Foundation announces the "Leisure Vision 10" Competition for the best living room furniture design, including its presentation in a computer-generated arrangement under the theme: CREATIVE HOME, and the realization of furniture prototypes during workshops in cooperation with manufacturers. The competition aims to promote new, mobile furniture concepts that allow users to individually shape their living room space. DOBROTEKA is the executive organizer of the Competition.
The competition has been incorporated into the series of initiatives of the Silesian Design June 2017.
The competition is open to: architects, designers, architectural and design studios, as well as architecture and design students, and can also be implemented as part of the educational process at universities.
The competition has two stages: the first stage involves developing a product concept and its visualization in a virtual interior, the second stage is cooperation with furniture manufacturers on a project set by the Organizer and the realization of prototypes during stationary workshops in Dobroteka.
The deadline for submitting design works is April 15, and the workshops are scheduled for August 31 - September 7, 2017.
The winners of the first stage of the competition will receive material prizes sponsored by WSC Graphisoft Center:
1st prize – ArchiCAD SE2017 and a STRIDA bicycle
2nd prize Artlantis Studio software
3rd prize Artlantis Render software
and five honorable mentions Leica rangefinders
The winners of the second stage of the competition will receive prizes sponsored by KLER S.A.:
Grand prize – PLN 9000 for the team and three honorable mentions of PLN 2000 each for the team.
The Organizer's intention is to implement the designs created in the Competition into the collection of the young DO_M brand www.do-m.pl and commercialize them, and their authors can count on royalties from the sales success of these products.
