Founding conference of the "United by Design" Association
On 19 November this year, the founding conference of the "United by Design" Association took place at Dobroteka as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week. The conference was attended by representatives of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow and Katowice, the Institute of Art at the University of Opole, the Faculty of Architecture at the Silesian University of Technology, Kler, B+R Studio, and Dobroteka.
Dr. Tomasz Wiktorski welcomed the conference participants to "the era of design."
Jan Cegiełka presented a case study of Dobroteka's creative projects in his lecture "A Good Start." Dr. Marek Listkiewicz from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow spoke about the cooperation between Academy students and businesses in Poland and abroad in designing products and services. Diana Nachiło from Biznes meble.pl Publishing House discussed furnishing Polish homes during a videoconference. Finally, Dr. Tomasz Wiktorski talked about the possibilities of obtaining EU funds for design.
