Open Days of European Funds
Dobroteka, a beneficiary of European funds, will participate in the "Open Days of European Funds" for the third time. During this time – from May 12-15 – we have prepared many attractions at Dobroteka:
On Thursday, May 12, at 11:00 AM, there will be a finissage of an exhibition of works by students from the Jan Cybis School of Fine Arts in Opole, where you can see porcelain based on the shapes of natural forms, lamps inspired by ethnic art, and toys.
Starting Thursday, May 12, we invite you to visit the exhibition of works submitted to the competition organized for the fourth time by Dobroteka and the Public Junior High School in Dobrodzień. This year's edition was titled "Youth Jewelry." The task in the competition, aimed at junior high school students from across the region, is to create jewelry – handmade and according to their own ideas.
We also invite you to visit the exhibition of winning designs
from the 3rd edition of the "Dream Furniture" competition. The competition, organized by meble.pl Publishing House under the patronage of "Trend Book," is a unique initiative consisting of two stages: the first – an art competition for children under the motto "Children's Dream Furniture." Children's ideas about furniture became the starting point for the second stage of the competition – "Fulfill Children's Dreams," where designers – both professionals and amateurs – create furniture designs inspired by children's drawings. The results of the competition, in the form of miniaturized 3D-printed prototypes, can be seen at Dobroteka from May 12 to June 6, 2016.
On Saturday, May 14, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, we invite children aged 7-12 to English-language workshops titled "Europe – Our Common HOME." During the classes, children will learn to talk about what they like and who they are, and they will also look for the positive aspects of everyone being different. All of this will be done through play, team competitions, contests, and quizzes!
